1. Nature of the services
Medium Noëlle offers paranormal insights and spiritual support. These services are performed on the basis of a best-efforts obligation. This means that Medium Noëlle makes every effort but provides no guarantees regarding the outcomes or results of a session. The services are expressly not a substitute for medical or psychological advice.
2. Medical advice and personal responsibility
No medical diagnoses are made. For physical or mental complaints, the client must always consult a recognized physician or specialist. Following information from the session is entirely at your own risk. Changes to ongoing medical treatments or medication must be made exclusively in consultation with the treating physician.
3. Confidentiality and Privacy
All shared information is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with our Privacy Statement. Personal data is used exclusively for our own administration and the provision of the service. Photos shown during a session are not stored, unless this is necessary for an ongoing process and with explicit consent.
4. Photos from third parties
When the client shows photos of third parties, the client declares that he/she has obtained permission from the person concerned to do so. The client indemnifies Medium Noëlle against claims from third parties regarding the use or viewing of these images during the consultation.
5. Liability
The liability of Medium Noëlle is limited to a maximum of the amount charged for the relevant consultation. Medium Noëlle is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or decisions made by the client based on the insights obtained. This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or willful recklessness on the part of Medium Noëlle.
6. Cancellation and Withdrawal
By scheduling an appointment taking place within 14 days, the client agrees that the service will be provided immediately and waives the statutory right of withdrawal as soon as the session is completed.
Privacy Statement
Medium Noëlle (hereinafter: "we" or "us") attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy and personal data. In this statement, we explain how we handle your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Personal data that we process
When you use our services, we process the following data:
Basic details: First and last name, date of birth (if relevant for the session).
Contact details: Email address, phone number (for appointments via WhatsApp or by phone).
Special data: Information you voluntarily share during a consultation (spiritual or mental well-being questions).
Visual material: Photos you share for the purpose of a reading (see point 4).
2. Purpose of the data processing
We use your data exclusively for:
Scheduling and conducting the consultation/session.
Processing payments.
Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email for practical matters regarding your appointment.
3. Retention period
We do not retain your data longer than strictly necessary:
Administrative data: In accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation (7 years).
Content notes/photos: These will be deleted or destroyed immediately after the consultation, unless explicitly agreed otherwise for a follow-up process.
4. Handling photos from third parties
If you show photos from third parties during a session:
You declare that you have permission from the person concerned for this.
Medium Noëlle does not store these photos in a database. Photos sent via WhatsApp are deleted from the chat history after the session.
These images are never shared with third parties.
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with external parties if this is strictly necessary for our business operations (such as a bank for payment or the website hosting platform). Data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties to safeguard your privacy.
6. Your rights
You have the right at all times to:
To view, correct, or have your data deleted.
to withdraw your consent for data processing.
To file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, and unauthorized access. Our website is secured with an SSL certificate, and devices containing your data (such as WhatsApp) are secured with two-factor authentication and biometric security.
