Medium Noëlle (hereinafter: "we" or "us") attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy and personal data. In this statement, we explain how we handle your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Personal data that we process
When you use our services, we process the following data:
Basic details: First and last name, date of birth (if relevant for the session).
Contact details: Email address, phone number (for appointments via WhatsApp or by phone).
Special data: Information you voluntarily share during a consultation (spiritual or mental well-being questions).
Visual material: Photos you share for the purpose of a reading (see point 4).
2. Purpose of the data processing
We use your data exclusively for:
Scheduling and conducting the consultation/session.
Processing payments.
Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email for practical matters regarding your appointment.
3. Retention period
We do not retain your data longer than strictly necessary:
Administrative data: In accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation (7 years).
Content notes/photos: These will be deleted or destroyed immediately after the consultation, unless explicitly agreed otherwise for a follow-up process.
4. Handling photos from third parties
If you show photos from third parties during a session:
You declare that you have permission from the person concerned for this.
Medium Noëlle does not store these photos in a database. Photos sent via WhatsApp are deleted from the chat history after the session.
These images are never shared with third parties.
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with external parties if this is strictly necessary for our business operations (such as a bank for payment or the website hosting platform). Data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties to safeguard your privacy.
6. Your rights
You have the right at all times to:
To view, correct, or have your data deleted.
to withdraw your consent for data processing.
To file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, and unauthorized access. Our website is secured with an SSL certificate, and devices containing your data (such as WhatsApp) are secured with two-factor authentication and biometric security.
